Dealership tried to swap tires for me on my Tacoma, called me and told me 4-6 hours to drill out the locking nuts because they are rusted to the bolts and nothing they have tried will get them off.

I'm at 55k miles on the truck, purchased it a year ago from the dealership with the same tires and rims that are currently on it. Took it to them a month ago and asked for an oil change and tire rotation, they told me good to go and I left. Turns out they didn't do a rotation this time, or any time I have it in to them, due to not having a key (mine disappeared when they were replacing the engine).

What are my options to getting these off? Do I damage the rims by trying to break them off?

I had a similar issue with locking lug nuts a while back. Pepboys figured out how to get them off though. If they're rusted on to the point they won't budge, I'm not sure what you're options are. I'd try penetrating oil but it might be tough to apply it. If you snap the bolts, you do run the risk of damaging the rims when the wrench lets go. You can try to protect them with a cover of some sort but it'll be a crapshoot. You can try heat and a hammer. You heat up the lug nut and tap it with a hammer and try to turn it with a wrench. Key word, TAP! You need to be careful with the heat since they're mounted on the truck also so if you're not comfortable with a torch, don't try it. Last option, wrench with a long cheater bar (wrench handle extension, metal pipe works well). If you do this, be prepared for some broken bolts.
