So I've been researching various exhaust systems for the 4.0l Tacoma and can't really settle on anything. I want a really, really deep sounding one and nothing I've heard really sounds 'DEEP' .. Anyone have any expertise on the topic? Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks, fellas!

Hey That sounds great! What exhaust do you have? Catback or just a weled in muffler?

The TRD cat back full system from the dealer sounds pretty good on my 2006.

I would imagine so! I'd like to keep it legal in Texas for the inspections though.

well....the flowmaster super 44 is pretty deep and loud alone, and im not sure how ya'll's inspections work, but you can delete the rear cats without having a check engine light come on. no sensors past the first set of cats.

Nice! I forgot that there are several cats on my truck. I remember seeing the rear ones now. I'm gonna chop them things off! Thanks for that suggestion!

functional hood scoop, ram air induction (in the works), short throw shifter, cherry bomb catback exhaust, and indash dvd/nav sys.
The larger your exhaust pipe the deeper the sound is gonna be. So if you want a deep sound you need to run like a 3" pipe and muffler from the cat back. With like a 4" tip. I should say that would be pretty loud!
