    alright i'm working on getting the ect sensor out, but do I need to completely remove the plastic wire protector housing to get to it?

    well i took out the t stat and i boiled it in water and everything, and all went well so it's not the t stat.

    I then tried getting the temp sensor out and i don't know how the hell i'm supposed to get my hand and a wrench down there to get it out, let alone just my hand.

    Here's the definition of p0125 from the 98 3rz FSM code chart.

    Test the heater circuit in the upstream O2 sensor. It is the white/red wire, and the red/white wires.

    OHM test those two wires. If that circuit is open, replace the O2 sensor.

    i replaced the temp sensor because i already bought it. I reset the codes and the cel went off. Im' gonna give it a few days to see if it comes back on

    3" suspension lift, 33" tires
    Did your CEL ever come back on, or was it the O2 Sensor after all? I'm having the same code, P0125, but I'm getting mixed messages after reading this thread.
