I think Acai berry juice is loaded with antioxidants much like blueberry or pomegranate juice. Cannot argue with the health benefits of any of these juices. The problem is the price of that Mona Vie- ouch!!

That being said, my ex was taking Mona Vie for several months and there was a noticeable difference. Far less bitchy when taking juice than not. She even got off her ass and enrolled in technical college courses. Even if it is a placebo effect it is hard to argue when it works for certain individuals.

 

Just drink beer and cut the crap!! LOL

It's trendy. Like the whole chipotle pepper craze, almond colored refrigerators, and slap bracelets. Pomegranate is becoming the same way. The POM company is actually getting trouble now for misleading advertising and not being able to back up it's 'healthy' claims. I propose we find a society that doesn't have strawberries in their everyday culture. Market them as special health berries and make all sorts of drinks and such around them. We could be millionaires. Nay, billionaires.

I drink Sambazon Acai "smoothies" and I love them. Its probably pretty gay to drink but I don't really care.
