    I noticed the same thing, the bottom brackets would not fit flush and I tried pulling some of the silicone out to help the fit. Couldn't finish the install last night but I'm heading out right now to drill the holes for the bottoms and get it done.

    crap bolted and welded together....

    just do your best when it comes to that part. the ball joints on the brackets make it easy for you to be off a little bit on being flush and aligned right.

    I'm trying to see the difference between the 05 - 07 and the 08 - 11 for the EZ Down installation.
