my valance cover..bro

here is an attempt to make a valance cover+ plate holder cuz I hate where toyota puts the front plate

got 2 layers of glass on, letting it cure then I will make a ridge in the center to hold the liscense plate, and 1 more layer of glass over it.
sand, primer and paint black after that.

I'm having trouble envisioning exactly what you are doing here.....so you just want a flat space for the plate to go so it sits flush?

I think he is relocating his license plate to the bumper's lower portion.

 

yep, moving the plate to the lower part, I guess it would be 'frenched' or recessed? im not cutting the bumper tho, just adding to it.
and yeah them old plate holes that are there need to be taken care of, the front is a mess on mine

some PVA release agent, so it doesn't jack up my 'perfect' paint

and then the cover back on, I might make it go lower, not sure
