love my aFe pro-dry filter! w/ my deckplate mod, it sounds "beastly" especially around 3400-3700 rpm. highly recommend~

Not sure yet.. I will probably get my first oil change in the next couple weeks. It will be my first to. I'm planning on pulling the AFE one out and throwing the stock one back in just in case they do.

You removed the resonator from the stock intake? How did you do it? I am playing with that idea, but don't know how to go about it... I am thinking of using dremel & duct tape... But that will look kind of ghetto :/

I pulled the passenger fender well apart at the top so that I could see the huge air restrictor/ water stopper and ripped it out. Maybe a 10 minute thing.

Removed the Mud Flaps, Rock Deflectors and Head Rest. Limo Tint, I had 3" Toytec Lift, Procomp Nitrogen ES6000 shocks and Struts. AllPro UCA, AFE Pro Dry drop in filter, WeatherTecs. Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
Hey guys I just got to remove the charcoal filter and I am ready to order the drop in filter. But after looking at the OEM CAI it just looked restrictive, awkward box, bends in the inlet... The aftermarket CAI looked more to the point more of a direct flow.

So do you believe the aftermarket CAI gain more all around than just the drop in? or the Drop in is just fine if you are driving under 3000 rpms or even 2000 or less.

"pick one up"? where in kelowna can you get them? I ordered mine from Mopac in langley, ended up being $110 or so shipped...and I noticed more power in the low rpms (1000-3000). Which is perfect for me and exactly what I was looking for. I rarely get her over 3000 anyways. After I get it back from the frame swap, its deck plate time! Got all my pieces just need my truck back!
