    will 35x 12.50 s run on a 3 inch lift? rims are 16x9 with a 4.5 backspacing. if 35s dont work, will 33s?

Many folks run 285/75R16 or 285/70R17 on a 3" lift. (That's a 33x11.5" tire) Use an 8" wide rim with 4.5" backspacing or 8.5" wide rim with 4.75" backspacing.

Of course, anything is possible, but you increase the scope of the modifications you need to be willing to make.

Even at 33" you trim plastic and many trim the body cab mount.

You can make it work as long as you are willing to do a lot of trimming, cutting, and grinding.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I just put on 33x12.5x15's with 15"x10" rims

Here is the specs on the wheels
    Offset: -44mm Backspacing: 3.74" Bolt Pattern: 6-139
    Rec. Tire Size:32X11.5-15
    Weight: 18.5lbs.

I did have to do some trimming to the pinch weld and the cab mount.

I have about 3/4" clearance at full lock.

I'm going to do a little more cutting this weekend and clean it up a bit so I can stuff them at full lock.

As much as I hate body lifts.... you could explore that option to add to your suspension lift.

    Or...

    Get 6" lift instead.

35's really look good, but honestly, way too much work.

Here's one guy that, in my opinion, did it right.
Backs. Not really a big deal. Front on the other hand...
