I had a thread a few days ago of my mods with crappy pics, here are some less crappy pics.

After seeing C0astie's DSM Taco, and after justing buying an 07 that was DSM, I figured I model mine after his. Not that I want to copy someone else's, but his looks awesome lol

DSM wasn't my first choice but the condition of the truck outweighed the colour but I am getting the colour to work for me. The chrome is going too as a part of that plan. I got to say, black on DSM looks really good.

Note that my rear air bags are @ 10psi and the truck still sits pretty level.

I don't hate it. That was my 2nd choice color, don't see many of them. Conversly every 3rd Tacoma I see is silver.

    I think it looks good.

DSM was my first choice in that range of years, but there was too long of a wait. I ended up going with Silver for my 2008, which I have no regrets about, it just that every other Taco I see is Silver.

That's what color my Tundra was- loved it. Hides dust/dirt, looks sharp. Wish I could have found a Taco that color, now I have lame silver like everyone else.

    I'm 35. Some call 35 old...some call it young.

My wife calls it Old Man Tan. I think the problem is the chrome makes it look like an old man colour. The black will make it a young fella colour lol

I like mine. I searched for this color, because most of the time I am out in the High Desert of California and I need a truck that blends in.

btw, the black does look really good on the OP's truck!

Probably the best color to have in term of maintenance. I had a gold pathfinder and I'd just wash the wheels. =P
