I have seen one here in the suburbs of Denver, it was a complete vinyl wrap in flat black. It looked good from far away, but when you got close you could see wrinkles in the vinyl and corners that werent cut clean. The XRunner looks sick though.

nothing wrong with vinyl...but for $2300 he could have done the paint job and got the matte clear which would allow him to polish it...it does look good but I would just pay for the paint job versus having someone vinyl the entire vehicle...just MHO and personal preference...

that's what ALEXRUNNER did with his XR... painted matte black with matte clear...

Do you notice scratches and dings more if your truck is painted flat/matte?

Alex doesn't cause he's an XR and doesn't drive it a whole lot cause if his other toys...but if it were a 4x4 that went wheeling frequently you are almost guaranteed to see it a lot more...

but the same goes with vinyl...get enough dings and scratches and the vinyl start peeling...it would cost you most to replace the vinyl then it would to do touch up paint since you would have to replace an entire body panel/section of vinyl compared to repainting a certain part...

    haha not my truck man
    just searched it for you
    true and true.
I just like the fact that the vinyl is a little less permanent.
either way i wouldn't vinyl or paint my car flat black. BUT, both trucks look very sharp

I saw a flat black truck at a motox event in Sanford, NC that was wrapped and it really looked very cool. It's the ultimate stealth look. Vinyl... The upper class bedliner, JK. JOE>
