Because for as much as I love my truck, I have forever hated the stock front on 99' thru 2000 Tacomas, but thats just me, plus I got tired of scraping it on the ground while doing steeper obstacles...

Shit Anthony, I hate the metric system I wish they'd just stick with U.S. standards of measurement, i.e; 32"x11.50x 15/16/17" & so on, are you stock height ?? Since your a prerunner TRD, I assume , you & I pretty much have the same suspension Except I've got the 5100's now so I'm lifted a little. OK at stock height, I know the biggest tire you could run with pretty much no issues is 32"x11.50 x whatever rim you use, I think my 265/75's are equivilent to 32" (don't quote me cause I'm not 100 % on that) but with the info I gave you, you should be able to take a tape measure & from the ground measure from the center of tire (obliviously) to the top & see what ya got, if its greater than 32" I'm gonna say your dead in the water till you get a lift of some sort. hope this helps....

It helps, but i have a Prerunner not TRd, but has a 2 1/2 lift up front,i have 17'' rims actually i checked and the ones i have now are about 29" and 10" width , i think the ones i want are 31X11.50X17 , i was worried that tires bigger that have 11" width will rub , they are about an inch from rubbing the spindle right now,

Here is a comparisen of the two sizes. It will be close but you shouldn't have a problem with the bigger tire clearing the UCA.

Before, well when I got the truck in 06 it was completely stock. No toolbox or step bars. This is just the oldest pic I can find.

Not much has changed. Visually that is. Lots of audio stuff, and some performance goodies. The single worst mod (its a love hate relationship) hands down are those ricer headlights got them before I joined TW. I love them at night which I do a lot of night driving, but I HATE THE RICER BLING factor. But oh well. To do list: After I stumble over some money #1.Lift 5100's and new leafs. #2. 265/75/16 DuraTrac's
