Help with changing wrong fluids

    Ok....First off you should be changing your own oil. Secondly, it sounds like you have a really cool brother to try and help you out and save a few bucks. Tell him not to worry. There is a whole thread of folks that did the same thing that he did. There is probably tons more that are afraid to admit they did it. I actually had the wrench on the tranny bolt then realized, wait...this dont look right. I got lucky, because no other truck I owned had a tranny drain plug.

    They all had fill areas, now this truck has the drain but no fill area.:notsure:

    100%stock, except for the exhaust leak and custom windshield crack mod
    Toyota should spray paint OIL on it in bright orange. this is a very common occurrence. Hell i almost drained my Tranny the first time, but luckly looked up and said.... wait thats not right.

    Regardless of you having almost done it yourself, i would bet that was only due to maybe zoning at the time.

    One is clearly on the bottom of the engine and the other is clearly on the bottom of the transmission. Again, I can see it happening, but i think only in a moment of complacency. (Taking for granted the simplicity of the task at hand)
