Good luck, I think your making the rt decision going to the 4x4 but I think your making a mistake going with the short bed, your going to miss the LB, its functional and has a lot more room. And your could always slash your own tires to score your duras. Ask for tint for Christmas and your on your way to modding it up.

Your wife makes twice what you do so she deserves twice the car? Does that mean when its desert time she gets two scoops of Mint 'n Chip and you only get one? ROTFLMFAOBBQ

So Carmax offered $21k and the dealer give me $22k. I think that was fair...less than I wanted, but fair.

Why didn't you just keep your truck and save all the money you spent on this new truck on stuff you actually need. Your best excuse for getting another truck is because you feel "inferior" when you see another 4x4? "Grass is always greener" syndrome at it's finest.

Exactly my thoughts. ;) OME struts look an awful lot like the OE Bilstein.

Actually I have been thinking of the TRD CAI regardless of 4x4 or not. I can use my Toyota Rewards Visa points for that (and an iPod adapter).

I say get the 4X4. A 2 wheel drive truck is simply not a real truck at all. I would rather have a car. That being said Toyota is brilliant with this whole pre-runner thing. I have always had full size domestics until now and the 2 wheel drive versions of those totally suck with there awfull rake. Just my opinion.

Either get the old TRD CAI or the AFE equivalent. I would recommend you get the Maf Calibrator with it though.

I am very happy with it. In my mind, I made the right decision. I do really miss the ride provided by the OME setup, but the gains outweigh that one downfall. ...now if only my cap would come in.
