I've been looking for something new to do with the exterior cosmetics on my 08 EC Taco. I was looking into getting socked and getting the retro stripes and that made me wonder if some racing type stripes would look good on a Tacoma. Opinions? or even better pics?

    Hey, it's YOUR truck.
If you like it, do it!
Nobody on here is paying the notes for you.
Personally, I think the retro stripes are better looking, but that just my opinion.

If you do end up doing it, make sure you drop a 1.8 liter V-TEC in it first..

I have seen one in person, it was blue with grey stripes. It looked stupid. Don't do it... but if you do... post pics. :D

In my opinion, if your not a street rod dont do it, but if you do, do complementing colors like that one above minimal contrast looks good imo

Yeah I think the only way I would ever do it (although I never will) would be to do a matte black on gloss black. Racing stripes on anything but a high end sports car, or a race car just kind of screams cheese. But everyone has their own tastes.

Don’t waste your money, spend it elsewhere on the truck.
