The only 265/75 or 265/70 I would run with 2.5" or higher would be duratrac. The looks make the tire look larger and fill out better. My .02

there's a lot of better options, than duratracs, that will look better in either size...

but the 265/70/17 will look goofy beacause of the skinny sidewall

These are equivelent to 32s, do i regret not getting 285s(33s) yes and no. More yes the no though haha. Believe it or not i had rubbing on my inner fender liner until i did some cutting, due to offset im sure.

    And these are 265/70/17s

i am currently debating on my tires, i think that i will need a different wheel to be able to fit the tires that i want. i have a 3" spacer lift, i got quoted by a local 4X4 shop for 285/70/17's anyone think that maybe i could go for at least a 75? or would serious rubbing be an issue???

Ome 3" full suspension lift with added toytec topplate spacer
So here i am waiting on my truck... I am having 4wheel parts do it because for the price there asking it's worth it to me. Any way. The dude installing it is telling me that the ome kit with the top plate spacer is toooo much lift for my stock uca's. I called ben at toytec the dude that sold me my lift, and he is saying it should be fine. F#$k!! what to do. The tech at 4wheel says that he has two trucks with the spacers and light coils that have aftermarket bumpers and they need the spacers out because they are getting too much lift for the uca joints.. On top of that my lower arm alignment bolts are siezed and need to be replaced. Apparently this is common so there goes another 450 in parts and labor... any thoughts on this guys? Do I run the spacer or not...

I'm amazed that you guys think a 70 series tire looks "skinny" on the sidewalls...to my eyes, there's not a hell of a lot of difference between a 70 series and a 75 series...what, like 14mm?

It's over an inch in size difference that's quite a bit in my eyes 31.61" on the 70's and 32.65" on the 75's

A little less then 3 inches of lift in the front. Toytec 1.5 AAL in the rear. 265/70/17 BFG's IMHO I think it looks just fine. :)

It's just amazing that an inch is that visible to you, that's all. Not being critical at all. I guess I don't look that closely at tires.

Really? I guess you would have to put 75's on to see the difference visually it looks a lot different to me. The type of tire and rim width plays into account as well. I guess if you took 2 tires on stock wheels one 70's and the other 75's it would be minimal but I still can see the difference.

I think it's an "interest" thing. It's just not that big of a deal to me. It would probably be like that I would notice an incorrect trim piece on a classic Mustang, whereas people who didn't know/care wouldn't notice any kind of difference. Just different strokes for different folks.

It is possible to stuff 285s and not rub. I do all the time, but you need to trim body mount and fender liner
