X3 on the firestones, I have 2 sets, ATs and MTs that go on when i'm off road.

When I got my truck it had BFG ATs on it, and they sucked, they were noisy and I didn't think they were that good off road either. I ended up dumping them early with about 1/4" tread and getting the Firestone ATs, much better ride.

So i sometimes wonder if all these high opinions of BFGs are just from a mob sheep that have never tried anything else.

Had Firestone Destination A/T's on my 03 Tundra...much quieter than my current bfg's on this tacoma....and have to say that I thought they provided just as good grip...not to mention i had 45k on the tires when I sold the truck and they still had ~15-20k left in them. BFGoodrich is a great example of great advertisment, IMHO

you have 33k on your km2s? i hear that most people only get about 25k out of theres. i know it all depends on how you drive but thats great you have that many miles. how does the tread hardness of km2 compare to the A/t?

ya mine have 33k on them and are about 50%! its lookin like they will probly hit 45-50 thousand!
but i drive mostly on dirt roads cuz thats where im comfortable:)
ive ran bfgs on every truck ive had and ive always had real good luck with them. not a big fan of the a/ts but have a couple friends that really like them.
never seen or heard about the firestones. my view on tires is get what you know is good:) and that will vary between people.

i have the Firestone MT's for about 4 years now and they are awesome. besides one tire that had a little chunk come out of one tread they have help up for 40k - 50K miles but it is time for new ones. i use to do a lot of hard mud riding on the farm and i have made it everywhere and back with them, and easily followed my buddy with his z71 w/ 35 toyo MT's. i was considering switching to A/T's since i dont do as much mudding anymore but now i may have to stick with the M/T's
