I called about a softtopper a few months back. Whoever answered the phone was very helpful, and discouraged me from getting the rack. Not sure if its even available for the taco anymore from them. I think it was a pretty flimsy setup.

Talked to Bob at softtopper today and they have a totally new product that looks good. i am only looking at carrying surfboards up top.

    I might get it.

    That thing looks nice!

Still on the fence between a hard and soft top though. I love the softtopper, and this new rack, but the security of a hard top is still on my mind.

Did he give you any idea of the load capacity of the new rack design?

    The load is 250.

Not much different than the rating for load bars on a hard top. Cool.
