Does anybody have pics of a Tacoma (pref. a d-cab short bed) with a Thule or Yakima cargo box mounted on cross rails or on a tonneau cover over the bed of the truck?

    Sweet thanks man.

Anybody else have pictures of cargo boxes mounted above their beds? The only reason I ask is because the box I'm getting is 90.5 inches long. That means the rear of the box will be aprox. 40 inches past the tailgate. That might be an issue and might look like poo. I just want to see what it will look like.

If you mount a box in the bed, point it backwards. It looks better as it matches the contours of a truck bed and will be slightly more aerodynamic.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that. I remember seeing a picture of a white taco with a box mounted backwards above the bed about a year ago. I can't seem to find the thread. It may have been on another toyota forum though.

More than 3 feet past the tailgate.. i think it would definitely look like poo, but it would work.

Mine is about a foot past the tailgate.
