I wanted a 85 Chevy C10.. but dad said if he was paying, i had to get a toyota because he wants his money going towards something that will last, which i understand. and we went to a dealership one day to look at a v6 dbl cab, and i was like dad... this is like 21,000 bucks.. and we were about to leave, and we saw mine. and got her that day. i love my baby

Really... the reason I bought a Tacoma was I'd have several Toyota Trucks and they had always been real reliable and just great trucks. My first one was an '87 4X4... then I had a '92 xtra cab 4X4... so with the kids getting bigger I was in need of a double cab, so I bought my '07 Double Cab 4X4... and LOVE IT! Been slowly adding a few goodies here and there, Snugtop Cab-High canopy, bigger tires, Ipod adapter and most recently the tube-style stepbars. One thing I haven't done is to put a lift on it and really go for some nice oversized wheels/tires... but that is going to be one of the next things I do.
