Well, if any of you have a word exchange with an owner of a 2010+ camaro, you can ask how they feel about their "Canadian" muscle. Camaro is built in Ontario

LOL I thought someone from Canada might say something. Take it in context of this thread. The issue relavent is they can't say the new camaro is "american muscle" when it is built in Canada. There is nothing wring with it being built in Canada. It's only funny cause it is a big deal to those who say buy American made vehicles. It's a way to irritate them.

Yeah I had a guy tell me a few weeks ago at lunch not to park that piece of $hit foreign truck beside of his county schools work truck. I told him that I just increased the value on his truck. He was not too happy. He was a dick.

dads 98 silverado had 190k on it when the orig 350 threw a rod ... this misconception of american trucks grinds my gears sometimes ... hes now at 254k on the new engine.

He also had a 91 bronco with a 351 that he bought new and it had 220k on it when he SOLD IT ... i saw it in town a year ago and talked to the guy and asked how many miles now .... he said the odo rolled so that rig is now over 300k on the orin engine / trans / rear end

i got shit quite a few times for driving my 93 yota. I just told whoever it was "come back to me when your odometer reads 150,000.... if it makes it there... and see who still has their car."

My family always gives me crap for buying a Toyota. They're all Ford peeps.

I just didn't want the F-150. I wanted something smaller but not the nasty Ranger. I can't stand that truck.

Secondary air filter removal, K&N drop in, Removed front mud flaps, Toyota all weather matts, skid plate, bug guard. Bilstein 5100's all around fronts set at 2.5", OME add a leaf, Goodyear Wrangler Authority 265/70/17, stubby 6.5" antenna, smoked tail lights, blacked out badges.
I'm a union electrician, so I get shit all of the time about having a Japanese vehicle. The thing is, my truck was assembled in California, unlike their Fords and Chevys. I might consideran an american rig if they can compete with the quality of Toyota...................Nah.

A couple of my friends were arguing the other day who's truck would last longer. One has a 04 Chevy 1500 and the other has a 05 f150. Both trucks have less than 75,000 miles on it.They decided to place a "bet" on who would be in the junkyard first. They wouldn't let my Tacoma with 187,000 miles in on the bet. They said I had an unfair advantage. :D

The lines are getting more blurred about what's furrin'. In this state there is a Mercedes plant, along with Hyundai, Honda.... even a Toyota engine plant. The Huntsville plant makes the v6-and v8 for tacos and Tundras. They will add in the I-4's soon.

not metal worthy .... plenty of american trucks are capable of hitting high mileage numbers if taken care of thats all.
