With the stock 31"x10.50x15" I've matched & beaten some other equally stock full sized V8 trucks , not by much but a win is a win...:D

For what they are they are quick, and have potential to be a fast truck. They will beat with most ricers and hang/beat some full size trucks. But for being a bullet proof offroad truck that are freaking used in war! Lets see them "fast cars" try to race us, offroad! ;) :mudding:

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Old thread, I know, but I clocked mine today and it does 0-60 in 8 seconds. My wife's 5.0 V8 Explorer does it in 10 seconds. Makes no sense to me how it gets beat by the 3.4 V6 with less power and torque, but it does. Frickin' love my yota!

I would call these fast trucks for what they are. I have a basically stock 01 3.4 5spd (01 had higher numerical gears than earlier years for 4wd) with a K&N (helps with clogging the MAF and being loud), and my takeoffs are very quick. "Butt dyno" tells me a sub 8 0-60 isn't out of the question with a good driver. For as off-road capable as they are, I think calling them fast is plenty fair. I bet they'd take any other stock truck of their year, barring a lightning.
