Glad you finally nailed it down Dave... Now have fun with it... and don't cry when you bust off the mud flaps or that running (step) bar... When you off road in rocks or deep mud, they are going to lose the battle!

Practice going into and out of 4WD Hi and Low Range... Find a dirt road or dirt field... A hill would be great... really steep is okay! Hi Range is shift on the fly (movong or still), but low range requires you stop and put the tranny in Neutral (not Park) to go into and out of LOW RANGE.

Steering is more difficult if you are on hard ground, so expect that... and never use low range on pavement... and us high range 4WD only if it is pouring rain, if at all.

Now, when you are in LOW RANGE and have driven a bit, or up and down a hill... use the Rear Differentail Locker... It is a bit more fussy to use than the low range... blinking light should go to a solid light when it is engaged... Do this while stopped and pointed straight... foot off the brake... then tap the gas pedal to start to move forward... Repeat if it doesn't engage.

    Have fun!
