I've been wanting to swap my SR5 seats for TRD seats for a while now but haven't really decided on whether or not I want to try and buy them from somewhere, trade them, or get them out of a wrecked tacoma. Any suggestions? and What do you think I'll be paying for these?

So you have the TRD seats and want SR5 seats?

I bet you could post on here and someone would trade you for the trd seats.

No I actually have SR5 seats, messed up a key peice of information there hah my bad. But I didn't think that anyone would want to downgrade to an SR5 seat that what's I've been wondering where I'd be able to get them for a reasonable amount of money.

That's awesome, my dad has a TRD and I love the way that they feel. It's almost like they sort of lock you into the seat. The SR5's aren't as comfortable on long trips.

Man i have been thinking about this myself, i want better seats, i have considered WO seat covers, leather, and looking for a straight TRD swap found out that is not that easy to find, i say one set on flea bay and well they were not all that cheap.

How much where they? And ya I've considered those options to but it's not really the material of the seat that bothers me its just the way that they're shaped.

Hmm, wonder if the power seats from the 4Runner or GX470 will line up. I mean, why stop at just TRD seats?

I think the seats were about 380 and then like a another 180 to ship them it was not going to be a cheap swap.

Jesus that is alot. I'm gonna need to go a cheaper route than that, maybe a salvage yard?

+1 for salvage yard. But the TRD seats are soooo much more comfortable than the SR5 seats IMHO

checked a local you pull it salvage yard here in AL and they wanted 316.00 a seat. I thought that was pretty high for used seats. I guess it is more about getting lucky and finding a wrecked one right away.
