    Why?

A bull bar only "protects" the front center ~2 feet of the bumper. And by "protect" I mean will cause more damage to.

Judging by the pictures, your best bet would have been an avid bar and/or some sort of Ranch Hand or Westin brush guard.

If you're really planning on purposely doing it again, go for a full bumper replacement.

HAHA NO! A bull bar would have made the damage worse if anything lol plus dont bull bars only protect the center?

Man you got off easy(thats what she said). But seriously, a friend of mine hit a cow in his Hyundai Accent and it almost killed him. He was doing 60 when he hit it. He was lucky, the cow went airborne and did some major hood/roof damage but the darn insurance company fixed it!! Ha, funny thing is we are meat cutters and we cut up cows all day long. Aint Karma a BITCH..

At first I thought that you drove through the store front of a former local whore house (it was called the Black Angus) lol

I once collided at 35-40 mph with a cow while riding my dirt bike, it was like hitting a wall, the cow just looked at me and went by her business, final tally was: I broke my wrist, got a concussion, while conscious, I lost vision for about 5 minutes or so, ate half of the inner padding of my full face helmet, broken jaw, +/- $1500.00 worth of damage to the bike, 22yrs after the incident, my wrist still hurts now and then when I twist it the wrong way.

    Cows are pretty solid indeed.......
