1.25 inch top plate spacers up front with TSB in rear. No vibes.
Had 1 inch blocks in rear and after TSB removed them because the rear set up quite a bit more than the front even with spacers. Now it's the same height front and rear. Thinking about changing up front to 5100's set at 1.75
hoping to drop the front just a tad.

I am also researching this and thought about doing a similar thread. Thanks for doing it for me!

Why do we have 18 people WITH vibes but only 1 of them posting about it? I want to hear from those people and what they have that is causing the vibes.

43 do not have vibes. That is still not a ratio I am satisfied with (30% had vibes).

2.5 in the front with TSB and Toytech 1.5" TSB AAL. I get vibes from a dead stop till about 5-7 mph. Then it will go away. Not noticeable to the average person. Feels like rough pavement.

I'm running 2" spacers up front with the differential drop kit, and 2" aal's in back...no vibes at all. I originally had 3" spacers up front with the differential drop kit and aal's, but didn't like the way the cv boot ribs were riding each other. Also, after having it leveled out, I decided I like the front down a bit. When I hook up the boat it levels out now, rides much better.

I have an 06 reg cab prerunner, what TSB are you talking about, does it pertain to my truck. How do I go about getting it addressed if so. My truck sits high in the back and was looking to put these shocks on to lift the front a bit to match.

So I just got my Hankook Dynapro ATs put on (265 70r 17). Next week, my 5100s come for the front. I really like the look right now, but think it'll look better with the new shocks set to 1.75. My truck's a 2010, so I'm leaving the rear end alone. I'm starting to doubt whether or not I should install the 5100s up front. I don't want the ride quality to turn to crap, since it rides so smooth now! Input please!!!!

5100's at 1.75, with tsb in rear. I did the 5100's about a week ago, and the truck rode great. once I had the dealer do the tsb, i got a vibe driving down at freeway speed. Not really sure if the dealership is going to do anything about it though. They are probably going to blame it on the 5100's in front. Is there anything I can do about it? Is there going to be any long term problems with these vibs?

5100's all the way around. Front set at .85. Camburg Spindles. Camburg Uniball 1.25 UCA's. Total Chaos LCA skid plates. Custom Deaver 10 pack rear leaf spring. BFG AT KO's 285/70/17, Weathertech floor liners, Wet Okoles. Midland CB/PA, Firestick.
5100's set at 2.5 with rear TSB and a 1" block. Looking at installing Camburg spindles with the front 5100's set at 0" and adding a Camburg uniball 1.25 UCA. Suggestions or comments welcome.

Mine are a little stiff set at 2.5. I like the height and have noticed a little drop in height after a while. I heard many people say that going down a notch will help with the quality of the ride.

With the 5100's set at 2.5 and the rear TSB, my wife noticed the difference right away - She said it ride more like a truck and less like a car. In my book, thats not a bad thing! I like the way the rear handles - I am thinking about doing a spindle lift and set the 5100's at 0" to get the height, but provide a better ride quality. More travel. Down the road, I want to upgrade the shocks and the rear end. Just takes time and money!

Keep in mind, the rear TSB makes the back bounce around a bit until they have a chance to break in. This is "different" to many people who unfairly report that the truck is stiffer.

Also, new tires make a HUGE difference on ride quality. Many people get new tires installed at the same time as their lift and blame the lift for the harsh ride.

I had the TSB completed on my stock 2010 over a year ago. The ride was noticeably stiffer but has adjusted since.
I recently installed the 5100's at 1.75" and was still on factory Bridgestone Dueller HT. Neither me or my wife noticed the ride difference with the 1.75" lift. If anything, my senses were telling me it got softer.
Keep in mind...I replaced factory TRD Sport Bilsteins with 22K miles on them.

    Jump ahead 2 weeks....
I took my recently lifted truck in for new tires and got 265/70/17 Bridgestone Revo 2's. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, I said "damn this rides much more rough". It was a major difference and THE ROUGHNESS WAS NOT CAUSED BY THE LIFT BUT BY THE TIRES.

Anyway, I thought the truck rode too softly so now it rides nice - like a truck should!

I love the combo of 1.75" in the front and TSB in the back. It is perfectly level.

    FrontPassshade_ff4d99a2f7353fcfc53074a027d8e62cda9f14ee.jpg

Oh...and I have put a couple thousand miles since the lift and tires (and 10K since the TSB) and have NO VIBES AT ANY SPEED.
