hID install

hey guys im new here and was looking for some good tips on a hid install on my 02 tacoma. looking to order one here soon and was wondering whats the best deal you have found but still is a good kit... also how hard are these to install and anyone on here had a video or detailed instructions on this?

Do have to splice with these or do the connect to the oem wiring

No splicing whatsoever. My kits are 100% plug and play.

 

I just got my ddm 35W 5000k hid's in last night, so far so good!

 

hey man. i have a 8000k digital hid kit that i bought from turnagain high lights but you can get the same kit at retrosolutions.com. for a bi-zenon kit (hi and low beam)
runs about 160. they are very easy to install too. ive had my kit for about two months and i love them. its a little bit more pricy compared to some other kits you will find but its worth it. good luck man

 

Just some questions:

Why do some spend money to put out less light than the stock lights?

Does the violet color really make things better?

8,000 k is dimmer than 5,000 K (which is just a little blue).

Isn't 4,300 k pure white and the most light?

 

Yes 4300k is the most useful. Some people just like the blue look, some people are ignorant and think the higher number means brighter.
