Found this super cool CD mount on ebay for my HTC Evo phone. Very well made mount that is sturdy and phone can be removed from the mount with pressing in on a button. You can still have a CD in the cd player while the mount is in place. I would think this would work with other phones similar to the EVO

Nice but too bad California law says the GPS has to be located on the lower left hand corner of the windshield.

Khaos' As long as the buttons on your Ipod touch are not in the center on the sides you will be fine with the CD mount i'm using...

hmm nah but its super easy and looks super clean, just do it haha if your not happy then take it off its just a sticker, stick both sides on the ipod and then stick the ipod lightly onto wherever you want it on the truck, and then seperate them and stick the velcro one for the truck tightly, if that made sense:eek:

That mount is universal. Take a look at the video on his Ebay listing. I'm sure it will work with the Ipod touch.
I might buy one for my Iphone4.:D

Nice find! Will it work with the rubber type cover on the EVO? I can't tell if you have it or not.

    Thanks!

Do you think that the insert that holds it in the CD player, will over time damage the dust sweeps on the CD player?

I think I like that. I grafted a RAM Mount directly to my dash to the left & below the radio volume knob.

As for the GPS, I used a RAM Mount off the lower left windshield pillar grab hand handle. When it was in that corner of the windshield it created a huge blindspot relative to the center of the windshield. Scary on the left - too close, too big.
