Sound System Help Please

Imlooking around to get myself a system for my truck.....i dont need much, just something with a USB connector for my ipod.....i found this sony combo here

is this a good little combo????

also could anyone recommend a good subwoofer that would fit in my reg cab taco 2nd gen....preferably one that is easier to wire?

i really appreciate any help, and sorry if i sound dumb, but im new to the whole putting a system in my truck..lol

 

i actually figured out that this one is better and i really like the look of it, is there any harnesses i need to buy??? and is there a connection for a sub in this?

 

idk bout what subs to get or not but as for the harness you will need one to wire up to the old existing adapters plus you will need a single din for your truck Amazon has both

Metra also makes a dash kit. There are subtle differences between the two that you may prefer one over the other. Check this link, post 147 & 153 for differences between the Scosche & Metra dash kits.

If you're replacing your door speakers you'll need to buy adaptors or sometimes called speaker rings... Mr Marv & hookedontronics (TW members) sell these.

As for a sub... I can't help you out as I have a DC but I did a quick search and there are several threads on small subs. (links below)

No problem. I got to looking at your gallery and noticed you have the black dash. I've seen some black dash kits on Amazon but I can't remember which brand..? BTW, nice looking truck, you've done a good job with your mods.

 

thanks a lot, yeah i just ordered the sony xplod speaker combo from crutchhfield....so ill post pics when thats up to date....got all i need..now just need the sub
