I went to get the Tundra since I was trading an F250 crew cab. However, cheapest one on the lot was around $45K.

I agree with the parking issues.....after having 3 F250s before this Tacoma, it is very nice finding a parking spot.

Besides it being noticeably wider and much much longer. Oh and taller. They are closer to the same size... But the 1st gen tundra is still much bigger.

Nope, I'll go back to a full-size when I finally own a house and need a heavy hauler but I think there are better options than a Tundra :crapstorm:

The only upside is more cab room and better towing.. but in my opinion the extra cab room is not worth the price.. and if i am looking for towing i am not going to get a tundra and be only getting 10 miles to the gallon while i am towing. If I am going to shell out that much money I am getting a diesel truck that will get better MPG while towing than the Tundra gets with no load.

Once I own my own house, I'll step up to an HD truck with an 8 ft bed...I don't see any good reason to buy a "full-size" truck, when I can get way more truck for the same price. And I couldn't care less about the interior. I don't want a truck with a nice interior.

I was looking at them before I bought my '11. I love the interior, but glad I got into another Tacoma.

Gas is going up for sure.. once the dollar is no longer the world reserve currency wich could be coming soon. thats one of the reason we only pay 3 dollars a gallon.. most every other countries pay over 6

I wanted a tundra to start with but I have a new denali so I dont need another big v8. So I bought the tacoma. If I was gonna get one id get the crew cab...I think it looks badass.
