I've searched and couldn't really come up with anything. I have the TRD floormats which are great, but I also have some Tacoma floormats which are rubber and can take a little more abuse. Only problem is when I had my '07 I didn't have the hooks on the passenger side, only the driver's side, and the passenger side mat doesnt have holes.

In my '11 there are hooks on both sides. Is there a way to remove the hooks without damaging them or the carpeting? Want to be able to go back and forth between mats depending on what I'm doing.

    Thanks!

All Factory for now, LOVE it that way
    becareful in removing hooks.
i broke the retaining ring on mine removing the hooks.
dealer replaced the entire interior carpeting as this was still under the 3/36 warr.
when they replaced it, the new carpet came with the passenger side hooks.

Just throw your rubber mats on top of cloth mats. When i'm ready to show of just pull rubber mats out and BAM done.

The hooks just pop right out on mine. Just pull strait up where they go into the carpet. Should'nt damage anything. The carpet has a metal gomet where they clip in.

I'm at work, but when I get a chance I can go take one out and snap a pic if you need it.

This is a test, right? Like when someone leaves a twenty dollar bill on the ground tied to a string?Isn't this why people were dying with stuck gas pedals? Might want to rethink that one...

Dealerships are giving hooks away for free due to the floormat problems Toyota has had recently.
