5100s at 2.5 flex pics

    So the argument with 5100s is that they preload the spacer and decrease down travel as a result (search google). What I want to know is how bad. So you guys with billies at 2.5 up front show us some flex....

    If you lift it x amount then you lose x amount in down travel from ride height but you gain up travel from ride height. This is assuming all other variable are eliminated etc. etc.

    It's not that you lose total travel you are just adjusting it up or down. You should be able to stuff it and extend it just as far as if there were no preload. It will take a greater force to stuff it though.
