    Windshield wiper nozzles,
    Starting my build on 1/25.

I want to turn my stock 2000 Tacoma to a Taco Crawler. I bought the Grey Manual 2000 Tacoma TRD V6 SR5 with 123,000 miles on 1/14/2011. Things I have in mind right now, and not necessarily in order...

Headlight Retro - Anzo Black Headlights with HID Retro by TRS
Alpine Deck with Ipod Cable, Bluetooth, and XM
    AEF CAI with Throttle Body
    Blacked out Grill
LED Tail lights, Side markers, Fog Lights
    Front Protection with PIAA lamps
    Rear Protection
    Rock Guards
Long Arm 4" Lift with 33's
    Winch
    CB Radio
    Headers and Exhaust
    Hood Scoop
    Shorten the Bed
Crawler Ratio and a lot more....

I will add the specifics as I go and pictures to be added.

    Truck as bought 1/14/2011

1/26/2010 - Black Anzo headlights added (write up). When I have the $$$ Than Anzo's will turn to black HID's.

    Before and After's

na, lol gotta learn it somewhere, long travel is good but its alot of maintenence and tuning, what are your main plans for the truck? what kind of armor are you looking for? for your crawler case you should give marlin crawlers a call and they will set you up. there are alot of vendors on here with alot of fabrication talent, they sell everything you would need. and there are alot of very knowledgeable individuals on this site that can help you with whatever you could possibly need.

    Windshield wiper nozzles,
Plans are crawling / jeep trails. I'll probably get banned for this but if I could have a jeep with a bed, I wouldnt have a Taco. <hides> As far as armor, when I was looking around the other day, I was noticing that I like the "Baja" style front and back.

    Front Bumper
    Rear Bumper
    Rock Sliders

I like this style A TON. I would like the arc tube on the front to be a bit flat on top though.

na alot of folks on here appreciate jeeps, they are pretty much designed for offroad, but the tacoma is right there with it and it has a bed. allpro offroad has a good lookin tube bumper also, you could probably get a guy around here to custom build you one if you asked, are you planning on doin extreme rock crawling? or just some moderate trails? because the independent suspension can only go so far.

Depends on what you consider "Extreme" Rubicon trail? I want to keep it street legal.

i live in south mississippi lol, so it dont really get extreme down here we only have pretty much mud. but if it would be a crazy enough trail that you would need a solid axle under the front there are kits for a leaf sprung solid axle swap and allpro makes a 3 link coilover swap. it just depends on how far you wanna take it.

    Windshield wiper nozzles,
Fixed it, thanks. I'm still in 2010 ;) The retro will more than likely be next. It's just not happening this paycheck as my extra cash is going towards a Verizon iphone.

HAHA!! Me too!! But I am really looking forward to see the retro. I love my projector headlights for their light output, however I have grown to not like the bling factor they have (halo's were cool for about a day). I love the black housing but just cant seem to make myself give up my hid's over them, so If the retro is pretty easy I will deff. save up the money and swap them out!!! So keep us updated please!!!!!!

    Windshield wiper nozzles,
No updates as of yet, I decide to make a quick interim and pick up a new fly rod and reel. I'll update some stuff tonight as to what exactly I'm getting. I've already found what I think are some of the best prices and also have changed my order of modding. I'll update tonight.
