Bedliner spray for coating offroad bumper???

How would these products work for coating a aftermarket offroad bumper? I am getting front and rears from Relentless and would rather use something like this than just spray paint. Does anyone have any experience with these and how good are they? Thanks.

Rustoleum spray on truck bedliner:

 

I used the Duplicolor Bed Liner on my skid plates and it's holding up well. No chips at all.

I was originally leaning toward the herculiner because I used that all throughout my old wrangler and it held up good and I like the good texture it has. How thick and how much texture do the spray on ones give - is it comparable at all to herculiner?

 

I've heard the Rustoleum works good, im gonna try it on my sliders when they come.

 

Dont hold me to this but from what i have seen the spray on liners do not have the same amount of texture but they are thicker. all you need to do is add more coats to make it thicker with the roll on

 

I was going to use something like this on my front skid. Haven't made my mind up yet

 

me neither. I'll be painting my front and rear high clearance bumpers this weekend so I need to make up my mind pretty quick.

 

i used the duplicolor once and it didnt work to well for me so i switched to the rustoleum and i was much better. Herculiner is much more expensive but probably the best brand you could use. the key is prep work

if you have the money to spend you can find a dealer near you somewhere for Linex. i got my toolbox and bed sprayed by them and the stuff works great...looks good too. they will do anything for you....they even asked me if i wanted to spray my dog's dog bowls so they wouldnt rust in the rain. its good stuff.

 

I wouldn't do LineX on a truck you plan on wheelin it's a lot harder to fix if you scratch it off. I would do Rustoleum I think it looks the best and you can put as many coats at you want. The Herculiner looks good on beds but I don't know if it would look good on bumpers.
