Totaled my 07' Red TRD OR 6 spd Taco a few weeks ago. Came around a corner in a snowstorm with not enough weight in the back and crappy tires (hint: don't by Yokohamas), and slammed into a telephone pole doing 40 mph. 100% totaled no question.

Just picked up a 2008 Speedway Blue TRD OR Auto SR5. I'm actually surprised I like driving auto as much as I do. This one doesn't have the HAC or DAC, but I don't think I'll be in any situations any time soon where I will need them; not taking my $25k truck knarly off roading for awhile. List of mods is always growing..

    1. Tires- Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (next week)
    2. HID's- 6000k (already ordered)
    3. Window tinting (next few weeks)
    4. Undercover EMS lights (grille and back window)
    5. Lift- 3" or so...
    6. Spare tire carrier
    7. 4x4 lighted switch
    8. HID Fog lights (this summer)
    9. Push bar

The list goes on and on...

Ouch! I actually opted for an automatic this time around myself. First time in 22 years since my first car. And I have to admit I'm glad I did.

I don't know, they just have very little traction in the nasty snow from what I have found. I even have 300+ lbs of sand in the back and I still spin out all the time. Was going to replace them, but since winters almost over, I might just wait till next fall and spend my money then.
