Lifts, lets see

why is it some 3 inch lifts look awesome and some look low still when teh tires don't look like htat big of a difference???

 

that is an awesome question? I have wondered the exact same thing until I have litterally got a headache. This is why I decided to go with a 6" lift so that way I knew I was getting the lift height that I wanted. I was having this very conversation not more than an hour ago and still looking for a good answer.

 

Ya its kinda wierd, some really do look a lot different than others... :?

 

I pulled up to the light the other day next to a lifted tacoma, he then followed me to ask what size lift I had. I was slightly higher than him and he claimed to have a 3" lift as I do. I was wondering if I was more than 3" or if he was under. Do some of you have measurments to your fenders, from the center of your wheels?
