It does look good. I'd like to get rid of my chrome but I don't trust myself enough to do it.

    For the Grill:

I sanded down most of the whole grill mainly because I have an 05 and after about 5 years some minor damage has occurred over the years. I bought some paint from Lowes that is good for painting on plastic and also bought some primer. Did two coats of primer and then did about 4 coats of paint. I think it turned out great for my first painting ever.
I am going to repaint, because I didn't paint the whole thing. As you can see in the picture, I taped up some parts of it.

    Now for the Bumper:
This has been an experience. I found some paint at Pep Boys that is supposed to be made for bumpers. I will post pictures and more detail of the paint I used in the morning. I did 3 coats of really light paint in the beginning and then did 3 really heavy coats. Paint was dry and installed at the end of the day.

If I were to do it again, I would do at least 2 more heavy coats. I am most likely going to buy a new bumper that is already blacked out because I have a good size dent already on my bumper that is going to cost me more to fix then to get a new one.

Sorry for being so vague, I will post some more info and pics of the paint I used.

This post is under the 2nd Gen. Build :)

I am not going to put a clear coat on the grille, I really like the look of the flat black look and its contradiction to the rest of the truck.
