Hey "Panda Jerk", may I know what size of tires do you have installed on your truck?

    Thanks,
    Regards.

I have an ARE cap and ARE does the same thing re the VIN. However, this doesn't mean the paint will be a perfect match- it's tough to get a perfect match on many colors, and technically a perfect match is really just about impossible to obtain without spraying test cards and tweaking the paint mixture as you go. This is why they blend paint onto adjacent panels when you get bodywork done as it fools you into thinking it's a perfect match.

Wanted to ask you about your 100XQ Cap and the fit. I just bought one for my 2009 and wasn't real impressed with the fit. Leer also messed the paint up and it came back the wrong shade so it had to go back to the factory. It seems to hang over the sides of the bed more than shown in the brochures at the store. Maybe I'm being nit picky but I can get a finger in between the cap the the sides of the bed on each side and the brochure looked like a better fit. And the back window is a bear to close. I have to close each side individually by putting my body weight behind each side and push real hard on it until it clicks. My wife can't close it. Does yours work this way?

Also wanted to ask you about the rack on top of your cab? Did that come with your truck? Or did you buy it separately?

Any info you have woudl be great. Thanks!

Remember..... The brochure is marketing material, and they are going to show their product at it's best. Did you ever get a Big Mac at McDonalds that looked the ones on TV........ I don't think so.

Regarding the back window. The latches need adjustment if you have to push on them that hard to close them. You can do that yourself, but it does take some time to get them "just right". It's a trial and error process, but it's not difficult.
