Update!!! Got a set of total chaos uca's!!!


Ok im finally starting a build page, I bought my 2006 sr5 ext. cab taco in june of 2010. I really wanted the six lug but truth is 5 lugs are cheaper. This is my daily driver and so far i have installed:

As you can see I have a big wish list, mods will happen about once a month maybe sooner. I have an 88 4runner project as well. Here is what the truck looks like now.

Debadge it! Looks way better IMHO

Don't waste your money on intake & exhaust... Regear instead, throw in some 4.56 gears and you will be set. For header look at LC Engineering...

 

Why no exhaust/intake? is the performance not noticeable?

dont do any performance mods, just get good tires and regear with a locker and front/rear bumper heh.

 

if you want it to sound cool you could put a flowmaster on it...but other than sound cool it dont do much

 

Anyone have or know of someone selling total chaos upper control arms and or coils for my 5 lugger?

 

Good luck. I'm pretty sure there are several others looking for the same thing. Doesn't hurt to ask though. I think StudpidHurts picked his up used though.

 

about to do what you've already done to mine soon. hopefully. except i think im going to try and paint my stock rims. but def doin the small lift with 31s. college budge doesnt fund much

Thanks guys. Yeah I really wanted to do long travel for mine or the tc upper arms but it's just not in my budget. I went with the bilstein hd struts only cost me 132 new from shock warehouse. I should be receiving them Friday and installing this weekend. I will post pics soon

 

That stock wheels actually look very good with 31's. I got so used to them that I cannot justify blowing $500+ on wheels. Too bad Cragar's rub up front

 

how do you like the wrangler authoritys?? they look like great tires. havent seen any bad reviews on them

 

I love them they are a nice aggresive tire thats not too bad on the bank. The only bad reviews ive read about them are road noise on the freeway. I cant hear them at all with my music on, when its off they make a light hum. They are excellent off-roading tires for tearing up the dirt i can take a turn going 45-55 in dirt and they just bite.

 

i acually like road noise lol. but not too much. and yea did you pick these up from walmart?? but dang thats good.

 

My brother got his at Wally world The only thing was the width of the rim was diff than the tire so they didn't mount them there. Sorry didn't mean to but in

 

Yes I did, they are exclusive to Walmart. I picked them up for 150 a piece : ) and I want to get rims but I'll wait a while 600 for the ones I want. I rather buy a locker first and just get some wheel spacers because my tires do rub on the sway bar and rear of the a arm
