Does anyone want to have another group buy on Wheelers offroad 5- leaf leafspring kit?

These are built by Alcan specifically for Wheeler's. Here is the product:


Note: Wheelers 4-leaf packs are "NOT" included

95-2000 5-leaf replacement pack, 1.5 lift.


2001-2004 5-leaf replacement pack, 1.5 lift.

5-pack lift heights are approximate and depend on your cab type and whether you have a cap, box, hitch, or other constant/regular load in the back. Call Dan at Wheeler's to discuss what suits your needs and use.


5-packs are usually $459. 10% off = $413, 15% off = $390

Note that no sales tax is charged.

Shipping charge is additional and will vary by your location. YotaDan will need your zip code to estimate shipping. Tacomaman6 had these shipped all the way to South Carolina, and said it wasn’t that bad, considering they are heavy.



Instructions:

1. Copy the list and paste it into a new reply.
2. Add your user name and zip code.
3. I will give the list to Dan.
4. After we get 10 orders you can call Dan at Wheeler’s Offroad: 541.474.2879. Tell him you are on the list; he will confirm this with the list I give him. You must be on the list.
5. Place your order with Dan. He can work out the shipping estimate for you.
6. Once Dan has the required number of orders lined up with credit card information, he will process them with the discount. 10% for 10 orders, 15% for 15 orders or more.

If you have an Xtra Cab, Double Cab, or a cap, or a hitch, or some combination of these, you may wish to consider the 5-leaf. But you’ll need to do your homework and make your own decision.

sorry for the dumb question but wut is the 5 leaf spring? i have a 3" lift with the tsb done and the add a leaf from toytec and want something diffrent cuz it rides like shit

 

Wheelers offroad offers leafspring packs that come with 4-spring leafs for a near factory ride height and a set of leafsprings with 5- spring leafs for approx 1.5" of lift.

This is for first gens.

 

These are for 95-97 and 97-2004 model Taco's RDAY.
You newer models have better options for yours.

 

I have toytecs ultimate lift and bought OME C19 leaf springs for a 3" lift but rides way too stiff. I am lowering the coils a bit and adding the Wheelers 5 leaf set for a smoother ride. Might go with a 1" to 2" body lift for more tire clearance.
This sucks that the older Tacos can only go 2-2.5" with a suspension lift without beating the truck apart.

 

Bad news Im out for now, hopefully things turn around before this is all done so I can get back in...sorry guys

 

So is it just for the Wheelsers 5 leaf Alcans, or the Alcan 8 leaf pack as well? Which would you reccomend for an 01 DC running Kings in front at 2.5" and a topper on the back?

Good luck getting this together OP. We (mostely scocar) just barely got it together in time.

The springs are awesome though and at that price, a great deal.

 

adhumston, I have the toytec coils with 2.5 and these from what I heard will be just right to level my truck. I hear that the 8- leaf pack is actually a softer ride "but" will not carry extra load. Hopefully others will answer as well.
