    So...
i went to go get my tires rotated at the same place i bought them a few months ago... guys take forever... service is not that great (as usual) but hey it was free so what can i expect... they give me my truck i drive off about half a mile MY TIRE FALLS OFF OF MY TRUCK!!!! after a guys almost runs straight into me... i walk back to the shop tell the manager they run over to get my truck... i managed to bend 2 of the wheel studs... the guys were cool took responsibility and replaced 6 Brand new wheel studs and lug nuts...

does anyone know what i should check for damage?! they guys inspected it and i took a look nothing looks broken or out of place... no warning lights in the dash... the axle seems ok... drives normal...

    what do u think?

They just don't make that wheel glue the way they used to - guess they'll have to use lug nuts next time..

lol well... My guess is they didn't tighten the lugs cuz i checked before i got on and they were on there. The guy from the shop said he thinks the wheel wasn't all the way in like it should. It was the rear passenger side and honestly i don't understand how these guys work at a tire shop and don't know your supposed to tighten lugs?! Its like a lifeguard who can't swim! But whatever just glad to be ok. But yea i think the axle just hit the rim not the ground but i'm not too sure

At least you are okay, that could have went worse in so many ways. I wouldn't visit that shop any more free or not.

Most likely they put on the lugs wrong. They bolted on one lugnut too tight before the others thus giving the aperance that the wheel was one right. They also had to torque the vehicle before it left the shop and they should have caught it by then. Stupid people man. I would never let a car leave the shop before a proper tourquing of the vehicle.
