lol at all the "snow at 1,500 feet" bullshit. All media hype.

However, the snow level was at a more reasonable 3,000 feet as I was coming down the mountain from Big Bear, which is still pretty low. Looked all nice and purty. :D

Josh, very cool video... I rarely get to see my own truck 'in action'!

It was a pleasure to meet you and your son today... The SoCalTacoma people are all great!

James.. dude, we tried right? Next Tacoma: 4WD (and an Off Road at that!)

Okay... here a a few of the photos my son and I took today...

That freeway blockage only lasted a short time.. 2 semis lost traction and it took awhile for cars to get around them... Just 3 miles from the Pine Valley exit.

After we said 'bye' to Josh, we drove up to Mt. Laguna (4WD or chains only) and found snow over a foot deep... at 6,000 ft. and temp. was down to 26ºF.

On the way home, the snow level was down to 3,500 ft.... just above Alpine... It was the most snow I have ever been in in San Diego County, I believe.

Thanks again Josh, good four wheeling partner!

You guys mised some good stuff today, but at least we could share a bit of it with you!:D

    lol.

Then this was about 45 minutes ago in my driveway. Super light hail that looked like snow! There was about a 1/4" of this stuff all over the road and driveway and all the cars. Pretty sick. :D

CHP asks: "Chains or 4WD?"... I say "4WD" and we are waved in... I don't have chains... don't need them... tires worked great.

Oooo yeah we were leaving and the cops locked the gate, good thing they were standing there still. they were handing out tickets to the 3 wheelers, could have sucked if they left.http://www.socalultimate4x4.com/index.php/topic,4227.msg40612.html#msg40612
these are the guys that pulled James out of the rut, james was stuck like 100feet from the gate.

Do you live in Poway (or in RB or that area)? Or are you there frequently? You've got New Mexico plates right?
