First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Is this a thin grill insert in your front bumper?

If so then there appear to be MANY tutorials on R&R on the Internet. Here is a good step-by-step one with color pictures here.

On your front bumper? The plastic grille insert is molded with the bumper (or is heated to the bumper by melting tabs), only way to get the grille out is to cut of the center part or break the melted tabs.

All 05-11 Tacoma Front bumpers are the same

Im not exactly understanding where your going with this.. If your taking about Satoshi'ing the lower grille "insert", you will have to take off your bumper, or leave it on the truck and be SUPER careful about cutting, fiberglass'ing, and bondo. Dont want to get that stuff allover your new truck

Ohhhhh ok, its all good man.

I would still mask everything off (obviously), But to take off the bumper "skin" you will have to remove your grille, headlights, and the lower trim piece underneath your headlights.

Post #2... once all the snaps are taken off, look closely at what you see that is holding on the bumper, and unscrew it or pop it off- Take your time.

yup! got it yesterday... gutted the plastics in the middle... sanded it and filled the gap with epoxy... today im gonna but another layer of epoxy, sand it again, install the screws via epoxy to hold the mesh down ...primer and paint, install mesh and install the bumper back on!
