My wife backed into my Taco!!!

Op.......i have yet to meet in my life a woman that can back up a vehicle

 

ok. how cold is it in texas right now? i would personally wait untill the hottest part of the day to paint so that it adheres properly. if its too cold, it will stay tacky and not stick properly and it will get fucked up again very shortly

 

This has happened 1 to many times in our house hold

 

I dunno...Maybe it's a Texan thing...

 

first damage to your new ride is the worst, my friend crashed her beachcruiser into my truck after having it only a couple of weeks..you can guilt her into sandwiches for only a little while!!

 

a guy who im no longer friends with used to have an 06 taco dbl cab he bought new ..... his wife wrecked it twice, then stole it when they got divorced .. luckily it was in his name and he got it back, but then with everything going on he couldnt afford insurance on two vehicles so he kept his paid off corolla

 

I fixed it last week. After washing and cleaning it, I wet sanded it with 600grit paper. Then sprayed 3 coats of adhesion promoter. Went to English Paint and bought the color match rattle can. Hit it with 4 coats of paint, then 4 coats of clear. It then baked in the sun for several hours. Two days later I hit it with polishing compound and waxed it....
