e-filing

has anyone here e-filed? I e-filed on feb. 25 and have direct deposit setup. I am trying to gauge when I should expect to see some money in my bank

 

1-2 weeks, usually on a Friday

Depends this year. Did you have to file the extra form for the first time home buyers credit repayment? This is the first year theyve had to deal with it and its taking longer to process. My return has been delayed by 3 weeks because of it.

 

ok, i said 1-2 weeks, that is after it is accepted by them. It took 2 or 3 days for them to accept it and then the it was deposited 1-2 weeks later. This was using turbotax

I did last year. This year just the normal w-2 and some 1099s

Ah cool! According to that then hopefully this friday. Pay day and tax return on the same day would be awesome!

 

I filed on a thursday. Following tuesday, it hit my account. By wednesday, the actual money was there.

 

We e-filed this year. Had state in like 2-3 days and fed in about a week. It was really nice.
