Well some jerk scratched my truck. I've had very bad luck with touch up paint. It always look like crap.

Does anyone have any instuctions or a guide to touching up scratches. I followed the instuctions on the paint but it ended up like crap.

is that through the paint? if not id take it to a car wash/detailer and have them try and buff it out. shouldnt cost too much due to a small area

That rectangular area is covered with touch-up. But it looks awful, i have to buff it off and redo it. I just don't know how to make it look better.

i am so glad i am not anal about my paint anymore, i put a ton of bush scratches on both sides of my truck the second day i got it,< you know to break it in sorta, but i actually bought this truck to use it and go wheeling and what not. my last truck i was really anal about the paint and looking at how i was back then it wasn't worth the stress on myself or my kids. < LOL

and to be honest if that is the worst scratch you have on your truck, then your golden dude, buff it out> i would just live with that tiny scratch as you can hardly tell its there.
