Toytec...ehh..depends on what kind of lift he has on it. I'm assuming it's just crappy spacers. If they're Toytec coilovers then you're good to go. No, just because it is a TRD Sport DOES NOT mean it is a 4x4.

    EDIT Offer him $21,000

ok. thanks! yeah im not found of the spacer lifts. never had any. just the idea of them IMO. and i'm going to ask on the 4X4 and other things when i call. and do you think the tires would be about a 33"? thats what i am thinking. and does any one know what the size of a stock like off dealer lot tire is?

i actually like these rims. don't get me wrong rockstars are nice but like every one has them. i kinda like to stand out in the crowd. just wondering, does that seam like a fare price for the truck?

Nice truck but I say keep looking because 23K is overpriced even if it turns out to be 4WD and a coilover lift. FYI-stock tires are 265-65-17.

CL ad: 2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, silver in color, 3 inch toy tec lift, 18x9 Moto metal wheels, nitto terra grappler tires, bed cover, all weather mats, and tinted windows
    Im asking $23,600 obo

Long way to drive, so ask a lot of questions. Don't forget to ask about mileage. I hate it when people don't have enough sense to put ALL the information in an ad, and decent pics from different angles. Also ask if it's ever been wrecked. Ask him if he's got a CarFax on it. If he doesn't, and you get serious about it, you may want to run one yourself.

You're pushing into the price range where you could be shopping for a certified used truck at a Toyota dealer, which will come with a warranty (up to 100k miles) and qualify for discount financing. This is an assumption, as I've not really looked at or priced certified used Tacos.

You need to know what the mileage is before you can say if it's a good deal. Whatapunk is correct, stock tires for a TRD Sport are 265/65R17. Not knowing the mileage, I wouldn't pay over $20,000 for it unless it was coming from a dealership with some sort of warranty. Even a standard 30 day is better than what you get through private sale.

yeah i know i hate when they don't put mileage,4wd or not, dont list number or even email to contact them. and dont list as much info as posable. and few pic. and thanks Whatapunk for posting it like you did! still learning how to post some stuff. and most 4wd extended/ double cabs at dealers are going like high 20's around here and can really find any that aren't like fully stock! and most have over 100k miles. some don't but most do and that for 2nd gens. IMO kinda high for year. parents '00 tundra had little over 190k and we but we do travel some to see family in upstate NY. about 11h drive

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
price does sound high and from the pics it looks liek that front may be a spacer lift.

Depends on the mileage, but it's a nice looking truck. I don't like the wheels though.

I found my 05 Prerunner Sport on CL for $16,500 with 75,000 miles, but it was in stock condition. Ended up getting it for $15,800.

Hard to tell, could be either if you are going by the faint top plate in the pic. Toytecs CO's could have a similar look from afar if you can't see the springs.

That truck is overpriced. As others said, you can get certified & add your own lift.

In theory, 68,000 miles with 1 owner is not bad. I would look for a stock truck (there are lots out there) because you never know what was done to it.
