I've had my 2011 4x4 SR5 Access for about six weeks and it has been great so far.

Have owned for 1 week. Love it. Certainly a lot quieter than my 2000 Silverado which it replaced so any little niggles are at this point lost on me because it is silent inside.

Haven't even had mine a week so far, but love it. I don't plan on resaling it at all, at least not in the next 10 years, just looking for a light PU with some towing capacity and not horrible gas mileage. Mine's the V6 TRD Sport M/T, so far it's peppy but still feels like it has the gear ratio and guts to haul my cargo trailer with ease. I am hoping the clutch loosens up a bit over time though, still pretty stiff.

It will be the greatest thing you will buy just make sure you research everything before you make your final purchase and get exactly what you want!

It's just as solid so far as my '07 but the blower does make a little more noise. I always have the radio on so it doesn't bother me.

I've had mine since October. I have the blower noise issue. The dealer says they have new ones in stock and I'll prob get it replaced tomorrow. I'm happy with the truck, not impressed with mpg but it gets what it said on the sticker. The road noise is up there ( my parents have a top of the line rav4 that is 4x worse). Besides that I'm happy with it. I have a dclb sport 4x4. I work in the auto industry and can tell you first hand that I wouldn't own a Chrysler bc quality is terrible. Chevy is also terrible. Ford is a little better and only the f250 diesel trucks top the resale value of the Tacoma.

Mine came in back in November. I started out getting 16 MPG, now, at 5000 miles, I am getting 17.5+ MPG. At 5000 Miles, I did the Rear Spring TSB, installed 5100 shocks on the front @ 1.75, and switched to Mobil 1 oil. I am anxious to see if Synthetic oil will raise my MPG slightly.

No problems so far. I really like the truck.

Got almost 8k miles on mine. Lifted it with 500 miles and it has been a great truck. On the next visit to the dealer, I will have them fix the noisy blower.

Sandjunkie, I've been looking at the pics of your truck for a while now and I think it's one of the meanest looking taco's I've seen. Those wheels are amazing looking!

Thanks Guys. I really like the truck. I downsized from an F350 and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ. This truck has been a good compromise between the two.

bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
We got a Jeep JK Sahara also, v6, speed, 3.8, almost the same spec the taco has, but it is shorter and has a back seat.

But when we really go into the woods, we take the 62 Military Power Wagon...tougher than nails and will go places these nice, shiny trucks won't...nothing like 9.00x16 grip spur tires and 5.85 axles.

I have been out in the woods lately clearing old logging roads so I can get a truck through, some of these haven't been used in 50 years.
