I put some 265/75/16 Hankook M/T's on in december for an elk hunt. went through about 18 to 20 inches of snow with a four wheeler and a Polaris RZR on a trailer to our campsite and they impressed the shit out of me. not sure how they are gonna wear, but we will see. Hope this helps make your decision nice and cloudy.

I don't think Hoyal was talking about the Hankooks. He has the Bighorns. But there ya go.. Ragin is another person that says the Hankook MT's are quiet.

I got the Hankook Mts - they are sorta loud, but look bad ass. Got 30k on them and they probably should make 45-50k. I gota get some pics of my truck up on here.

I can't comment on the Maxxis , but I have the Hankooks , I've had them over a year and a half as my daily driver .

They perform well in snow and muck , aside from being a bit loud on pavement at highway speeds , I would recommend them .

Mine weren't in the beginning. The fronts are a tad messed up from the alignment being off s they are loud now.

We get a lot more positive reviews from customers at work, that come in with the Bighorns. We don't sell many Hankook M/t's but that doesn't mean they are not any good. Both are very good companies, and have made their footprint in the tire industry. I personally would go with the Maxxis tires, because they have come so far in the last decade with new tire designs and technology. They are very sticky M/t's. They also use carbon fiber and exo abrasion resistant sidewalls. Kind of on the noisy side, but hey its a M/T, if you don't want noise run A/T's. Goodluck!

I have had my Bighorns on my truck for about a month now and I am very happy with them. I have been riding around on Super Swampers for the last 9 years and decided to try something with a better ride. I can actually do 80 now and still be able to look in the mirrors and see.lol They all balanced out really good and I was suprised at how good they do ride so far. They make a little noise, but nothing compared to what i was use too. I got them for $770 at a local tire shop and that included mounting and balance.

I got them from Mancini tire. I think they are just a local thing though.

See my pics for Hankook M/T's. I dont have any comlaints, but probably won't get another set after these wear out. Road noise isn't bad considering all the other wind noise we get out of the trucks. Rain traction is so-so...but this is a Mud tire, not and A/T or street tire. In the mud, they are great. The look aggressive as well, but that is just an added bonus.

This is my first time on MTs, and I think mine are quiet. I rode in a dealer's taco with KM2s and those rumbled like mad, my Bighorns just have a mild whine.
