Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You install them so the word Bilstein can be read.

mine are on boots down because if they somehow get filled with water/mud the puddle won't be sitting on the seal between the shaft and body.

    Either way will work though.

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
my driver side writing is upside down, but my passenger is right side up

both my boots are on top right now.

SO, I'm confused because if I switch my shocks to be boots down, the words still wont be right.. what should I do here?

I'm leaning towards putting boots down and disregarding the writing. I just noticed that water was collecting in the boots so I'm thinking flipping the shocks and drilling a tiny drainage hole into the bottom of the boots is the way to go... thoughts?

I could make a case that having the boots up puts that seal further away from mud and water lessoning the chance of intrusion. Boots down would make the boot fill up with water if you were in up to the hubs. With boots up you'd have to be in almost up to the frame. I do boots up, plus it looks better.
