BANKS MONSTER EXHAUST ToyTec Lift TRD SuperCharger (March 2012)
    First Post...my 2010 Taco, 4x4, TRD O/R, 6 Speed
    It's a slightly better ride than my '67 FJ40!

Day 1, picked up at Dealership
    [IMG]

    Day 2, Window Tint
    [IMG]

Day 3, After much reading...largest rims/tire package that will fit on stock suspension. Thx to all posters for advice.

3/4's of a turn on the steering wheel will get you this much rub. A very cautious drive home from the tire shop. The Toytec lift awaits in the garage.

Day 4, Less than 1K miles and she's almost 6 inches taller with the Toytec Ultimate Lift and bigger rims/tires.

Day 4, Complete for now...not pictured is the Banks Monster Exhaust (sweet)!

Don't even have my plates from the DMV yet!

    Definitely to be continued...

March 2012, finally pulled the trigger on the TRD SuperCharger!!!

Step 1, install myself or dealer? Well with 19k miles, warranty is key! Shopped all dealers in my area and decided to let them do it for $1400. That sucked to open the wallet for something I can do myself...$1400 insurance policy

Step 2, best purchase I ever made, No regrets, so addictive! Why did it take me so long?

THE LIFT - The ToyTec lift couldn't have been more simple. I didn't adjust them out of the box, and I'm glad I didn't. ToyTec says pre-set 2.5" adjustable to 3. I left it alone at first and haven't had a need to adjust since. Although I'd like bigger tires (for looks) I absolute feel no loss of power with the slightly bigger tires. No plans to go bigger. Best part? NOT needing an alignment!

THE EXHAUST - I'm nobody to give advice on the exhaust. If you've done ZERO engine mods, I suppose it all depends on the sound you're looking for. It's a mellow sound but can get louder when your foot is in it. It allows those around me to enjoy the raspy sound when over 3K rpm. No resonating inside the cab either like some Flowmasters. The best part was the install, seriously the easiest install I've ever seen...20 min. Hardest part? The removal of stock exhaust...but then again, my truck was brand new and didn't take much effort.

Stop thinking about it and DO IT!

Nope, did not come with hangars, but a little WD-40 and they came right off.
